Welcome to the world, little blog—and welcome, readers, to my very first post!

The Bookish Rabbit Hole grew from my love of books and my habit of following one interesting idea into another. A novel might lead me into history. A nonfiction book might send me searching for a documentary, podcast, lecture, museum, or place I suddenly want to explore. Before I know it, I’ve disappeared down another rabbit hole—and honestly, that is half the fun.

Here, I’ll share what I’m currently reading, my honest reactions, book reviews, and the unexpected questions and discoveries that books inspire. You’ll find both fiction and nonfiction because I could never choose just one.

I’m not approaching this as a literary expert or critic. I’m simply a curious reader who enjoys thinking about stories, history, people, and the world around us. Some books will become favorites. Others may disappoint me. Either way, I’ll tell you what I genuinely think.
