A Great Book with Barack Obama
I spotted this new Audible podcast and had to add it here. Barack Obama sits down with a different guest for each episode to talk about a book that has stayed with him. It sounds like the kind of conversation that makes you want to pull a book off the shelf and keep talking long after the episode ends.
The six books include Toni Morrison’s Song of Solomon, James Baldwin’s The Fire Next Time, and Marilynne Robinson’s Gilead. I’m especially looking forward to the Morrison conversation with Percival Everett.
Have you read any of these? I’d love to know which episode you’d listen to first.
